so like.. you know how everybody has a right hand man? and that right hand man is always somebody that you can depend on?
but.. through my life i realized that the only person i can depend on, is myself.

The Decision?
Everyone tells me not to go to the marines. I understand that its difficult, risky, and pretty much not safe. But.. maybe its because you guys don’t know the reason as to why i categorized it as an option for my future.
I know that they’re a lot of sacrifices i need to make. But the reason i choose to go is because it will honestly be better for me in the long run. Id rather go to the marines and serve for 4 years, THEN go to college as a a more mature guy. When i become a freshman in college after the marines, ill be focused more on my studies instead of going to parties with people that are younger than me. After focusing on college and doing great, ill be able to live my life satisfied and even start a family after. A family where I, as a father, can provide SO much for my children and wife.
While at the marines, my goal is to tell the other guys around me about God. Most of them probably don’t know the great things about God. Everyday, i can tell them something knew and have a time to read the bible with them during a break. Yes, it will be tough. But Jesus never said it would be easy. My mission in life is to spread the gospel and live my life to the fullest with God. Hope this gives you guys a better idea on why i have the marines as an option in my life.
